Amarillo - the Spanish word for yellow & a “pretty famous” town in Texas (thanks to King George), this cabin features 2 queen beds to sleep 4.
Our air-conditioned primitive cabins have recently undergone a facelift with fresh new linens, and we look forward to the off-season providing further opportunity for improvement. Each cabin is currently appointed with keyless entry, programmed specifically for your stay. The cabins are air-conditioned, and each contains queen size beds with premium linens, ice-cold air conditioning, mini fridge, standard coffee maker, microwave, dedicated outdoor picnic table and charcoal grill (use of which is governed by current Comal County regulations - we are currently in a burn ban, but cautious grilling is permitted).
Just down the hill and past our air-conditioned primitive cabin rentals, you will enjoy private river access with complimentary tubes and concrete bulkhead for relaxing on the river front. The property is located between 2nd and 3rd crossings and showcases the river’s ONLY float-up bar and grill!

If you didn’t know, now you know! The Texas Parks & Wildlife Department stocks the Guadalupe River with trout WEEKLY from December through February every year. We are looking to add a large stainless filet table near our primitive cabins and provide freezer access for those that wish to filet and go out for another day! The Capri on the Guad expected future improvements include the addition of a dishwasher and aesthetic updates
The lower bedroom at the Capri on the Guad will include a third full bathroom to serve the Queen bedroom, Game Room & the Bunkhouse.
The Palisade at Capri is a separate residence above Capri on the Guad and will be receiving a new kitchenette.
